What Cattle Do When No One's Looking
Here’s another one from my nature notebook.
People mistakenly think of cattle as docile herbivores.
I was disabused of that notion long ago. On my canoe trips and while stalking fauna along streams, I have — on more than one occasion — seen cattle catch and eat large fish.
They’re so skilled that some cattle put grizzly bears to shame.
Now that's a hoot! And I needed a laugh today - thanks!
You can tell by the look on their face, they are up to something.
